About Gerald Kelly
Gerald Kelly has a multi-dimensional career as a stand-up comic and actor. He's performed on stages all across America and the Caribbean to sold out audiences and shows in all the major clubs including the Funnybones, Improvs and Caroline’s on Broadway where he’s headlined as one of the “NY Kings of Comedy”. With a knack for Colleges and Universities, he’s made his mark as one of the funniest comics to hit the stage. Russell Simmons calls him the “Black Jackie Gleason” and with his brand of comedy he’s guaranteed to make you a believer in the healing powers of laughter.

Gerald has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing S8, HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Comedy Central, and Showtime at the Apollo, BET’s Comic View, Conan O'Brien Show and Chocolate Sundaes [hosted by Tommy Davidson]. His movies include, "The Other Brother" and "Death of a Dynasty", “Cookout 2” and “Budz House” as well as “Budz House Backstage [featuring Kevin Hart]”." Gerald’s host of DVDs include: “Comedy in The Hood,” (which has been a big seller), “Laugh Bandits: No. 1”, “Gerald Kelly Live in New York”, “Gospel Comedy All-Stars, 1 & 2” and his latest, “Gerald Kelly on Broadway”. He's also been on Radio 107.5 WBLS (NYC) as a morning show co-host and in Hartford, Connecticut at Hot 93.7 WZMX as part of the Morning Team [his characters Grandma and Tahata are New England favorites]. Kelly has also produced and been recognized as a screenwriter.

Gerald has hosted and opened up for various Comedians, Hip Hop, R&B and Gospel Artists which have included: Chris Rock, Chris Tucker, Steve Harvey and the late Bernie Mac, Mariah Carey, New Edition, Boys II Men, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Kirk Franklin et. al.

Gerald is a philanthropist with a heart for young people. He’s currently working on two community initiatives, “Calling All Fathers”, which focuses on the importance of father’s being present in their children’s lives and “Microphones Up, Guns Down” which is a youth development initiative that teaches young people how to use their gifts a
