Eddie Griffin is widely known for his award winning Comedy Stand-up Special Dysfunktional Family (2003) which he starred, wrote, Executive Produced and performed on the film’s soundtrack with Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Tupac. Eddie’s most recent comedy special Undeniable, premiered on Showtime in 2018. In 2018 he starred in The Comedy Get Down BET Television Series with fellow standup performers Cedric the Entertainer, Charlie Murphy, George Lopez, and D.L. Hughley.

Eddie played The Pastor opposite Dave Chappelle, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in the Academy Award Winning feature film A Star is Born (2018), and in 2019 Eddie began shooting the feature film The Comeback Trail alongside actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones.

Eddie Griffin is back for his third SHOWTIME comedy special, Eddie Griffin: E-NIGGMA, premiering on Friday, December 6, 2019.

Currently, Eddie can be found performing his weekly Las Vegas Residency, The Eddie Griffin Experience at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.

Comedy Central has honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of all time.
