Event Details

On Memorial Day, 5/30/2022, join us http://www.schedule2crossfit.com/ for the famous hero workout “Murph” and a post workout beer tasting at the newest brewery in East Hampton, which happens to be our next door neighbor, Rule of 3 Brewery! https://ruleof3brewing.com/

Murph is one of CrossFit’s most recognized and grueling workouts, consisting of a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squat, and another 1-mile run, all while wearing a 20lb weight vest! As tough as that sounds, this event is open to anyone at any fitness level, as our experienced coaches will help each person find the right modifications to tailor the perfect workout!

Cost is $25 for current members, and $35 for non-members. An exclusive T-shirt will be included (details to come, be sure to select your shirt size in the order!) but will only be guaranteed to tickets purchased on or before Sunday 5/15! The event will also include an exclusive beer tasting next door after the workout! You will be one of the first to enjoy the exciting new brewery space that our neighbors have been diligently working on!

If you are a current member and only want to do Murph but don’t want a T-shirt nor beer tasting, you can sign up for free to secure a spot to simply do the workout. Regular class will be cancelled that day so you must register to participate!

More on "Murph"

“Murph” is an annual hero workout performed by thousands of people across the world to honor the fallen. It is named after Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005, after exposing himself to enemy fire and knowingly leaving his position of cover to get a clear signal in order to communicate with his headquarters. He provided his unit’s location and requested immediate support for his element and then returned to his position to continue fighting until he died from his wounds.
